Black Woman Build is a hands-on fellowship for Black women ready to convert what they already know into software products they own. No prior technical background required. The expertise is already yours — we hand you the tools, the curriculum, and the cohort to turn it into a product.
Across the program, you move through a guided arc: clarify your idea, build a real MVP using AI-powered tools, learn the engineering and security fundamentals you actually need, and ship to your first users.
You leave with a working product, a business model, and a network of women building alongside you. You keep all of it.

Who Built This
Built by a builder.
Black Woman Build is an initiative of the Rebrand Institute of Tech Equity (RITE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to put real ownership of technology into Black women's hands. Not access. Not seats at someone else's table. Ownership.
The fellowship was designed by women who have built companies, shipped products, raised capital, and watched what happens when our work gets packaged, sold, and credited to someone else. This program is the answer to that pattern.
RITE handles the infrastructure — the curriculum, the partnerships, the platforms, the legal scaffolding. The fellows handle what only they can do: the building.
You have always been the expert. Now you own the platform.
